The History Center will for the second time have a full-size replica (1 of only 4 in the world) on display, while also expanding our Medieval interpretation to go from the Battle of Hasting to the European contact with the New World – thus beginning the modern age.
Along with guided tours of the Tapestry we’ll explore the Middle Ages with Museum Theatre performances, hands-on activities, living history interpretation, and demonstrations of 11th to 16th century arms and armor.
