Calling people from all walks of life, Godspell is the lyrical retelling of the life and parables of Jesus, as penned by the renowned Stephen Schwartz before he created the musical blockbusters Pippin or Wicked or penned the lyrics to Disney's Pocahontas and Enchanted. After being preformed on four continents and numerous Broadway and off-Broadway revivals, Godspell invites us to "prepare ye the way" with John the Baptist and a re-envisioned band of followers sharing the comical and touching teachings of Christ through inspired choreography and lyrics. Score by Stephen Schwartz, book by John-Michael Tebelak. Rate PG.
Tickets: adults $24-26; seniors $22-24; students $14-16 depending on seat locations.
Brenau faculty, staff, and students with a
valid ID may purchase $5 tickets to GTA performances for themselves and their
household. Select performance nights are also free for Brenau faculty, staff, and
students. Brenau faculty, staff, and student tickets may be purchased by
calling the Box Office 2 weeks before opening night of the performance.
